What better place for a girl like Dae to go than a graveyard? She could easily admit that she had always had some sort of a morbid fascination with graveyards. Back when she was a kid, right after she had moved from her birthplace, she had found comfort in visiting a local graveyard, reading the gravestones. It was just plain interesting to read when the occupants of the graves below died, and occasionally how they died. And now, in a new place, she figured that she could once again find comfort in her macabre way; visit the local graveyard.

It was a bit too cool out for Dae's current outfit; the goosebumps on her arms proved that. She was wearing a pair of Tripp bondage pants, a typical pair of pants for her. The baggy pants kept her legs warm enough, but her black wife beater tank top did nothing for her arms and chest. Dae had tied her hair back into a half-bun, though left her bangs and a generous amount of hair out of the bun. It was such a typical hair style for her. The one thing about how she presented herself that was somewhat odd was the amount of makeup she was wearing. Nothing more than a small amount of eyeliner and a little mascara was worn. But at least her piercings made up for the lack of makeup. she had all three rings in her lip, one ring in her right nostril, both in her eyebrow, and both in her tongue. In addition to that, both her madison and bellybutton piercing were in clear view. She blamed the low cut top for that. But, hey, she wasn't complaining.

A somewhat noticeable grin crossed the teenager's face as she spotted the first gravestone, a feeling of familiarity filling her. Now that she was at a place that could calm her down, she figured she might as well do another thing that calmed her nerves a bit. Dae pulled out a pack of cigarettes and a disposable lighter from her pocket, placing one of the unlit cigarettes in her mouth. At once, she attempted to light up, but a sudden breeze kept the cigarette from lighting completely. Frowning noticeably, she made one more attempt at lighting it. Her second attempt worked, somehow, though if she had waited even a few seconds longer, she would've had an even harder time lighting it. The sudden breeze surprised her; it had been generally calm out only moments earlier. But now? Well, weather was a fucked up thing now and she knew it always would be.

Bringing a light smirk onto her face, Dae took a long drag, releasing the smoke moments later through her nose. Smoking, surprisingly, had been something that had come naturally to her. She didn't cough her first time (even though she threw up when she tried to chew tobacco) and now she could blow smoke through her nose and blow the smoke through her closed teeth when smiling. But that was about it (was there even anything else to do with cigarette smoke? Well, she didn't think so.)

After slipping her cigarettes and lighter back into her pocket, Dae took another glance around the graveyard. This time she saw another person, a girl. She had...cats on her shoulders? At least she wasn't aclurophobic. Dae was cynophobic; she had a fear of dogs. She had learned the hard way not to bother neighbor's dogs when she was four years old; the experience left quite a scar on her lower leg. Ever since then, she had been quite afraid of dogs. So, if the cats had been dogs (well, if they were dogs, they wouldn't be on the girl's shoulders), Dae would've turned around and nearly ran back to the dorms. But they were only cats, so it was all good.

Taking one last drag of her cigarette, Dae dropped it on the ground, pushing it into the moist soil with the toe of her shoe. She stayed behind for a few more moments, listening as the girl talked. To herself? Well, that was what Dae assumed at first. But, when she caught onto what the girl was saying, she realized nearly immediately who the girl was talking to. All that did was fuel her curiosity even more. Dae turned away when the wind began to blow again, much harder this time. What was causing the sudden bursts of wind/ She could only guess that it was either the weather, or something was making the wind act sporadicly. Due to the fact she was quite open minded, Dae figured that it was more likely that the second reason was the true answer. But you could never know in a situation like this one.

"Hmph." Jade stared at the headstone of the apparently tempermental little dead girl. The kittens were peering from behind some over grown weeds and as Jade turned, she couldn't help but laugh at them, a chortling sound that convinced the kittens it was ok to come back. She bent down and they hopped onto her shoulders. With a satisfied nod the girl turned toward the other, seeing her for the first time, her hands stroking the kittens, who were meowing softly, obviously wanting out but now that it was over, not having the courage to go by themselves. "You guys are pathetic.." she mumbled to them, still stroking them.

She stood, rooted to the spot with a rather blank look on her face as she appeared to size the girl up. Finally she shrugged and stepped forward, stopping a little ways from the other girl, a loose strand of hair beginning to curl around her twirling finger. Her head tipped to the side as she was now closer and able to take in more about the girl in much more detail, and she was a stickler for detail...The baggy pants and black wife beater were quickly taken in, as well as the hairstyle. Now that's hot Jade thought, a smile curving her lips as she stuck her hand out to be shaken. "Jade.." she said with a little nod..."And I suppose you saw that whole thing huh?" she asked with a fluttery motion with her hand, backwards toward Frieda's grave.

She shrugged. "Yeah, kids in those days must have been pretty bratty.." she grinned amusedly. "Or at least...That one was..." she laughed. "Frieda?" she asked, obviously not thinking whatever it was could hear. "It's no wonder she was bratty with a name like that.." The wind shrieked and the girl's hands were clamped over her ears. The kittens yowled and took off, not to be seen again until Jade went back to her dorm. The wind continued to shriek.

"Well, excuuuse me..." Jade called above the wind, her back turning to the one they called Dae and glaring at the headstone, her hands going from her ears to fists on her hips. "It wasn't a personal insult, miss Goody-Two-Shoes..." the wind shrieked again. Jade's face darkened. "Well I'm sorry it would appear that way.." she said, her voice quieting with the wind. She seemed to be having a perfectly understandable conversation with whatever it was. She shook her head.

"Goodness.." she mumbled, walking past the girl. "OK, now I think I've had enough excitement for one day.." she said with a nod, starting to walk out of the graveyard..not really seeing nor caring if the other girl came with her or not. She'd do what she wanted, and, quite frankly, Jade didn't give a damn either way...
