Welcome, deary, to Clarimonde Academy. When you first come into the Enterance Hall, there is one portrait that may instantly grab your attention. Your eyes may trail to a very large portrait of a very regal looking woman. The woman sitting in this portrait, done by a great artist who's name has long since been forgotten. This is a portrait of the late Miss Elsie Clarimonde.

This portrait, or well, the woman in general, has aroused many questions. But here, darling, let me explain...

The Clarimonde Academy was founded by Miss Elsie Clarimonde in the early nineteen fifties, when Miss Elsie was around 30 years of age, though most records have been lost, and the few that remain are extremely sketchy. The goal of the Clarimonde Academy, and Miss Elsie herself, was to bring better education to the children and teenagers of Germany. Talented teachers of high degrees and talents were hired, all with the promise to maintain the morals of the Academy.

But it wasn't long before things fell through. Miss Elsie Clarimonde fell ill, soon hardly strong enough to leave her bed. More and more duties fell upon the teachers, and, although they had promised to uphold the schools morals, they themselves did not personally uphold these morals, and it wasn't long before the students turned rebelious.

Miss Elsie Clarimonde disappeared soon after news articles ran about Clarimonde Academy and the recent changes that had been made. Few outside the school knew she was ill, and all assumed that these changes, and the free rein given to the students, was all Miss Clarimonde's decision.

She was gone. No one knows how, or why, or where....

Some believe she truely honestly died, died a regal woman. And yet, no body was ever found and no headstone bearing Miss Elsie Clarimonde RIP sits in the graveyard. Some believe she ran away, out of misery, too ashamed to face the world and tell it of her mistakes. Still others have their own private beliefs that they choose not to disclose. Many don't know what they believe.

But either way, there is definate fact that things have never been quite the same around the Clarimonde Academy. Seemingly good plans often fall through, foiled somehow. Many of the students think it is Miss Elsie's ghost, and some think it might even be Miss Elsie herself.

Who knows? Will you be the one to unravel the mystery surrounding Clarimonde Academy? Or will you be one of many who is scared away by the odd happenings and the things that go bump in the night?
